Durian is often known as the King of Fruits. Its fruits hail from durian trees that take a minimum of 10 years to mature. When durian fruits are ripe, they fall on the surrounded nets (protection) and is ready for harvest and consumption.
Durian has a vast variety of species which includes the famous Musang King (猫山王), Teck Kah (竹脚), Kim Hong (金凤), D24 and D101 from Malaysia and Monthong, Chanee and Kanyao from Thailand. Each species having a unique taste of its own.
